Bethesda today announced the PC requirements for the upcoming shooter Deathloop. These detail the minimum level of hardware you’ll need to run the game on your computer as well as the recommended levels for the most enjoyment. Of course, this doesn’t apply to the PlayStation 5 release, where all the hardware is the same. For PC owners however, it’s important to know if your system is up to the task. Deathloop Minimum and Recommended PC Requirements
Here are the official PC system requirements for Deathloop as provided through the official Bethesda website. The minimum requirements are as follows:
- CPU – Intel Core i5-8400 2.80GHz or AMD Ryzen 5 1600
- GPU – Nvidia GTX 1060 6 GB or AMD Radeon RX 580 8 GB
- RAM – 12 GB
- DirectX – v12
- Storage – 30 GB of HDD space
- OS – Windows 10 64-bit 1909 or better
Next up are the recommended specifications:
- CPU – Intel Core i7-9700K 3.60GHz or AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
- GPU – Nvidia RTX 2060 6 GB or AMD Radeon RX 5700 8 GB
- RAM – 16 GB
- DirectX – v12
- Storage – 30 GB of SSD space
- OS – Windows 10 64-bit 1909 or better
Lastly, the requirements to run the game at ultra settings:
- CPU – Intel Core i9-10900K 3.70GHz or AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT
- GPU – Nvidia RTX 3080 10 GB or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT 16 GB
- RAM – 16 GB
- DirectX – v12
- Storage – 30 GB of SSD space
- OS – Windows 10 64-bit 1909 or better
Clearly, if you want to run Deathloop at its absolute best, you’ll need a pretty advanced machine. It’s also worth mentioning that the minimum requirements have a 30 FPS cap, meaning that even with a Core i5 paired to a GTX 1060, the game will feel a little more sluggish compared to other versions. However, this is a next-gen shooter at its core, so quality hardware is a necessity to enjoy the full experience.
Deathloop‘s release is now just around the corner, albeit following numerous delays. Arkane’s shooter was first meant to come out in May before a delay until September. The game is releasing exclusively on PlayStation 5 and PC for now, but should come to other consoles down the line.
