Every Game Boy and GBA Game for Nintendo Switch Online

Nintendo is finally releasing Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games for Nintendo Switch Online.

The news was announced during a recent Nintendo Direct. Over a dozen titles are available now, including Super Mario Land 2 and Mario Kart: Super Circuit. Other titles, such as Fire Emblem and Pokémon Trading Card Game, are scheduled to release in the future. 

Like other classic Nintendo Switch Online games, the titles are emulated onto the Switch console. What games are available today? Which titles should we expect in the future?

Every Game Boy Game for Nintendo Switch Online

The original Game Boy games can be played with three filters: Game Boy, Game Boy Pocket, and Game Boy Color. Titles currently available are as follows:

  • Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare

  • Game & Watch Gallery 3

  • GARGOYLE’S QUEST

  • Kirby’s Dream Land

  • Metroid II – Return of Samus

  • Super Mario Land 2 – 6 Golden Coins

  • Tetris

  • The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening DX

  • Wario Land 3

The next Game Boy games are coming soon to Nintendo Switch Online. 

  • Kirby’s Tilt ‘N Tumble

  • Pokémon Trading Card Game

  • The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages

  • The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons

Every Game Boy Advance Game for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass

Unlike Game Boy games, if you want to access Game Boy Advance titles on Nintendo Switch Online, you need to be subscribed to the Expansion Pass. 

You can currently play the following GBA games:

  • Kuru Kuru Kururin

  • Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga

  • Mario Kart: Super Circuit

  • Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3

  • The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap

  • WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$

The following list of Game Boy Advance games is coming in the future. 

  • Kirby & The Amazing Mirror

  • Metroid Fusion

  • Fire Emblem

  • F-Zero Maximum Velocity

  • Golden Sun
