Fortnite Hot Spots - Where to Find

If you’re logging into Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, you’ll notice a handful of improvements and changes being reworked. Some are expected like gameplay adjustments and map changes, while some features return. One such reviving attribute is the Hot Spots that you can land at for the new season. These locations appear in every match, and they’re fairly easy to locate once you access your mini-map.

Check your map to find any location highlighted with orange/yellow texting; these are the Hot Spots for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1. It’s a new map as well, so you’re going to need to do some traveling. The unique locations will receive a temporary makeover with flying drones that can be shot down. They provide high-rarity items and weapons that you would normally find later in a match or through pure luck.

What makes these locations particularly attractive is the intensity of the match’s violence once it commences. Everyone will be itching to acquire some deadly loot, making the action seem all the more impactful. But they will shift locations for each match, which is why it’s important to check your mini-map when you’re about to drop from the Battle Bus with your squad.

They’re called Hot Spots because of the burning number of players that will land at these locations. You might also see a challenge or two that requires you to land at a Hot Spot. Be sure to be one of the first fighters there for a better chance at getting legendary loot.

With that in mind, keep an eye out for the flying drones that hover above the fiery spots. There will be multiple machines that can be seen high above the ground, and you can even land on top of them to claim some high ground. Just be cautious when shooting down a drone – all of that loot can be stolen from you by someone else landing nearby.
