Forza Horizon 5 - How to Change Radio Station

Music is an essential ingredient to the Forza Horizon 5 formula. The tunes begin to kick in from the moment you jump from the plane during the game’s opening. From then on, music seems to be ubiquitous across the Festivals and on the road. Especially when it comes to the radio stations, music can be the literal driving factor to kicking the fun up to 12th gear. If you’re curious to see how you can change the radio station, you only need to press one key.

Players using a controller can change the radio station by pressing right on the D-Pad. For those who play with mouse and keyboard, the “=” key will change the station. By doing so, you’ll flip through the six stations in a fixed pattern. After the sixth station, the radio can be turned off if you prefer the serene and quiet or if you have your own tunes playing in the background.

If you’re not too fond of the default keys, you can always alter them in the Settings. Through the start-up menu of the game, select the My Festival tab to find the Settings section. Simply scroll down and select Controls, where you’ll be able to change any input. You can then view all of the different controls that you can change, but the one we’re looking for is “Radio Next”. You won’t find a “Previous” option here, probably due to the fact that the game only features six radio stations. But from here, you’ll be able to change the controller input and key mapping for the radio station and beyond.

If for some reason you’re having issues with changing the radio station, it might because of a bug that potentially messes with it. Should you have this issue, make sure to report it to the developers to ensure they include a fix in the next patch.

List of Radio Stations

As aforementioned, Forza Horizon 5 features six different radio stations that players can listen to. Each station sticks with its own genre by offering a selection of licensed songs. Here are the six radio stations you can choose from:

  • Horizon Pulse – Pop and Electronic
  • Horizon Bass Arena – Electronic Dance Music and House
  • Block Party – Hip-Hop and Rap
  • Horizon XS –  Rock and Alternative
  • Hospital – Drum and Bass
  • Radio Eterna – Classical

It’s hard to say which radio station we prefer to listen to when racing through Mexico. You can’t go wrong with some Electronic vibes from Horizon Pulse, but there’s something about Classical music that really kicks up the engine to a splendid speed.
