Forza Horizon 5 - How to Leave a Convoy

Driving on the road with your fellow Forza Horizon 5 buddies is all part of the festive experience. When you show off your ride, you’re most likely sharing the details with those in your convoy. And when you’re going down the many roads in Mexico, there’s nothing better than having some folks by your side. But what if you’re ready to ride without a crew? What if you want to embark on your own Horizon Festival quests without having to rely on others? Here, we’ll show you how you can leave a convoy while playing Forza Horizon 5.

You can leave a convoy by going to the Convoy section in the menu and selecting the option to Leave Convoy. To find this, open your general menu and scroll over to the Online tab. Under there you will see a tab for Convoy, which works as your sub-menu to either launch or join a group.

If you’re already in a convoy, all you need to do is press Leave Convoy to immediately be separated from the rest of your crew. You will then drop back onto Mexico without your mates on your radar. You can join back in at any time by starting or joining a group made by your friends or any of your Club members.

Leaving the pack might be ideal for solo players or those who are working on their own missions that don’t need a team to back them up on the road. If you’re grouped up, you won’t be able to boot up your own playlists or quests without the leader doing it themselves initially. This might be the only downside to being a part of a road team, however.

Mexico is an open world brimming with activities that are perfect for multiple players to engage with. You have the epic PR Stunts, daring championships, impromptu street races, and so much more to explore. With up to 11 eleven available drivers in a single convoy, there’s no telling what you can’t do on the road.
