Microsoft has released the game feature early to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Xbox. And best of all, the multiplayer version can be accessed for free.

In order to get their copy of the game, users need to go to Xbox Store or stream. From there, they can click to download Halo: Infinite. This will include the multiplayer feature.

This isn’t the only perk that Microsoft is offering customers this month. Gamers can also join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for only $1. There is also an option to join Game Pass Ultimate for 3 months for $37.99.

Some gamers who are attempting to download the multiplayer game are reporting issues with blue screens. This is largely due to the huge amounts of people currently trying to download it. Xbox and PC users can restart their systems. They will then be prompted to download an update.

Halo Community Director Brian Jarrard tweeted about the issues, “PSA: We’re in the thick of things at the moment but FYI that players on Xbox/WinStore are likely hitting some blue screens / errors trying to launch. The build is still publishing and rolling out, expected to resolve in due time. Hang in there!”
