One of the rarest crafting materials in God of War Ragnarok are the Dragon Claws. These are required for the Dragon Scaled Armor upgrades, which are some insanely potent pieces of offensive tools. Where to Find Dragon Claws in God of War Ragnarok
In order to farm Dragon Claws, you’ll need to complete hidden bosses at the end of favors. These boss fight rewards tend to be at the end of side quests or as part of secret encounters. These are located all over the map, though most of them are located in various areas of Vanaheim.
The following is a list of quests that you will want to complete if you need Dragon Claws in God of War Ragnarok:
- The Desert Door in The Forbidden Sands for one Claw
- For Vanaheim! in The Plains for two Claws
- Path of Destruction in The Jungle for one Claw
- Trail of the Dead in The Jungle for two Claws
- Quaking Hollow in The Sinkholes for one Claw
- The Burning Skies in The Sinkholes for two Claws
However, you can get three Dragon Claws for completing a secret boss fight! This boss is located in Svartalfheim – Dragon Beach. Equip the Mystical Heirloom Relic and interact with the Big Dragon Statue of Dragon Beach by pressing Left Bumper and Circle. This will awaken a completely optional boss that you can defeat for additional Claws.
In order to craft most of the Dragon Scaled armor, you’re going to need to complete the Scent of Survival favor, which begins outside of Freyr’s camp. Completing it will unlock the blueprints for this armor set, which rewards aggressive parrying.
