Rockstar Games on Friday dropped the first trailer for the recently remastered GTA trilogy. The actual name of the trilogy is Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Collection.

We hate the name of the trilogy but it does feature upgraded graphics that include better effects and reflective qualities that fans of the series should appreciate.

The new remastered GTA series will drop on November 11th for PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S,

GTA was rebuilt by Grove Street Games using the Unreal Engine. It’s the same developer who recently ported the games.

RockPaperShotgun notes a bunch of updates to the series including “upgraded character and vehicle models, new high-resolution textures, increased draw distances, a rebuilt lighting system, and improved shadows, weather, and reflections.”

Rockstar Games has also brought other improvements including better targeting and lock-on aiming, an improved minimap, and better weapon selection wheels.

A full list of upgrades is available on the Rockstar website.

At a price tag of $59.99, it’s a steep cost for a game that was selling for $10 among all of its titles. At the same time, the graphic updates could be just enough to attract new Grand-Theft Auto players.

Here’s the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Collection (ya, I’m never typing all of that again).
