New to Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a range of character classes. Each character fits in a different grouping, with unique abilities to traverse the map and solve puzzles. Arguably the most complex one is the scavenger ability, which is limited to just 11 characters. Read on to learn all you need to know about Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga scavenger abilities, so you’re ready to harness them!
What Are Lego Star Wars: Skywalker Saga Scavenger Abilities?
There are three distinct scavenger abilities in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga: Blaster Breaker, Glider, and Net Launcher. All of the eleven different scavengers in the game can use these abilities, but they all have different purposes.
Blaster Breaker
First up is Blaster Breaker, where the scavenger figure will power up an extended shot from their blaster rifle. It’s especially useful when breaking walls with cracks in the center. If you hit them with a lightsaber or a regular blaster, they won’t break. However, the Blaster Breaker move, when executed using circle or B, will blast through it. Using this often reveals minikits or Kyber Bricks behind the wall.
Glider and Net Launcher
Next is Glider, which is also quite useful in some of the open-world puzzles in the game. This lets your character cross larger gaps using a homemade glider. These gaps aren’t accessible using the double-jump feature, nor with the extended leap of Jedi characters. However, Glider sections are often placed in conjunction with Net Launcher locations. This is where there are a line of nets going up a wall, with a gap for one more below. Your scavenger will then shoot a net into that gap, allowing you to climb all the way to the top. It’s one of the most common parkour challenges in the game, so once you have the scavenger ability it’ll come in handy.
However, you should know that you only unlock scavengers in Episode 6 and Episode 7. While you can purchase scavengers beforehand, you need to have completed the tutorials in these episodes before using their abilities in the open world. It’s a pain to grind through, but worth it once you can use their powers!
