Collecting all of your favorite characters is the main appeal in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. There’s nothing quite like charging around the open world planets as Han Solo or slashing down enemies as Boba Fett. For many Star Wars fans, there’s one wise old Jedi they definitely want to unlock: the Master Yoda. Luckily, we’re here to explain how to unlock Yoda in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
How to Unlock Yoda in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
To unlock Yoda, you must complete Episode 2: Attack of the Clones. This will become available after you finish Episode 1: The Phantom Menace.
Yes, rather than spending any of your hard-earned studs on the wise Jedi, you get Yoda just by completing story levels. Specifically, you need to finish the final level of Attack of the Clones, which is called The Battle of the Jedi. In it, you play as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Yoda himself dueling Count Dooku. Once the level is over, Yoda is automatically added to your roster of unlocked characters.
Adding Yoda to your playable characters really is that easy! It also means that you can then go back and play Free Play on any story mission as the iconic character. It’s even better that he comes free, because a lot of characters in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will cost studs. Some of the rarer characters are worth upwards of 500,000 each, so having Yoda free of charge is definitely a plus.
Equally, Yoda’s Jedi powers are fundamental to solving some of the puzzles around the open world. A lot of crates can only be moved using the Force, and some areas are locked behind walls that you have to slash through with your lightsaber. While you’ll already have other Jedi at your disposal, there’s nothing quite like playing as the little green master himself.
Baby Yoda, or Grogu, on the other hand? To play as him, you’ll need to purchase the Mandalorian Season 1 DLC pack. He appears as a companion to the bounty hunter Din Djarin. No free unlock there!
