Nintendo has finally announced Mario Kart 8 DLC Wave 2. It will feature eight tracks across two coups and will be released on August 4th.
A trailer was made available as well.
Mario Kart 8 DLC Wave 2 features courses from seven different Mario Kart games.
The Turnip Cup will feature the following courses:
- New York Minute – Debuted in Mario Kart Tour
- Mario Circuit 3 – Debuted in Super Mario Kart for the Super Nintendo
- Kalimari Desert – Debuted in Mario Kart 64 for the Nintendo 64
- Waliuigi Pinball – Debuted in Mario Kart 7 for the Nintendo DS
The Propeller Cup will include the following tracks:
- Sydney Sprint – Debuted in Mario Kart Tour
- Snow Land – Debuted in Mario Kart: Super Circuit for the GameBoy Advance
- Mushroom Gorge – Debuted in Mario Kart Wii for the Nintendo Wii
- Sky-High Sundae – A brand new track debuting in Mario Kart 8 DLC Wave 2
As a refresher course, here are the tracks that were previously added in Wave 1:
- Coconut Mall
- Choco Mountain
- Toad Circuit
- Shroom Ridge
- Sky Garden
- Ninja Hideaway
- Paris Promenade
- Tokyo Blur
Every Mario Kart game has been represented in the DLC thus far, except the Nintendo GameCube‘s Mario Kart: Double Dash. Aside from that glaring exception, Nintendo has delivered some quality courses for fans to enjoy.
