These Toad Town collectibles are split up into not-bottomless holes, collectible treasure, question blocks, and of course, a hidden Toad. Paper Mario: The Origami King Toad Town Collectibles
As we stated earlier, there are a handful of collectibles to be found in the Toad Town area of The Origami King. As with most games, some will be obvious, while others will be a bit tougher to track down. There are even some that can’t be found until later on in the game. In the list below, you’ll find a breakdown of each collectible type in Toad Town.

Now that you know what there is to find in Toad Town, here’s where to find every individual collectible location starting with the treasure.
All Toad Town Collectible Treasure
No. 4 – Torch
To kick things off, the first collectible treasure can be found when you first walk into Toad Town. Head down the grassy patch to the right of the save block and you’ll see an opening that leads underneath the bridge. Go to the other side and you’ll find the chest.
No. 5 – Camp Speaker
As you enter Toad Town, you’ll see a house with a blue origami penguin on top of it. Head through the front door and then through the back door to find the chest.
No. 6 – Coins
Fo the next of the Toad Town collectibles in Origami King, head to the broken bridge to the right of Peach’s Castle next to the expresso shop. Use Mario’s hammer to hit the umbrella closest to the shop to reveal a 1,000-Fold Arms spot. Use the arms to rip down part of the wall and then use the crates next to the shop to get on the roof.
Head all the way up to the top of the roof where the giant Goomba is and defeat him to reveal a Shy Guy in need of help. As a reward for saving him, he’ll give you the No. 6 collectible.
No. 7 – Colored Pencils
To get this collectible, you’ll have to have defeated the Colored Pencils boss in the Overlook Tower level. If you’ve already done that, head to the docks by going down the alley by the lift station. Walk to the end of the pier and hit the barrel with Mario’s hammer to reveal a Mole. Purchase something from him to get the collectible.
No. 8 – Rubber Band
To get this collectible, you’ll need to buy from the Mole once again after you have defeated the Rubber Band boss in the Big Sho’ Theater level.
No. 9 – Hole Punch
To get this collectible, you’ll need to buy from the Mole once again after you have defeated the Hole Punch boss in the Temple of Shrooms level.
No. 10 -Tape
To get this collectible, you’ll need to buy from the Mole once again after you have defeated the Tape boss in the Sea Tower level.
No. 11 – Scissors
To get this collectible, you’ll need to buy from the Mole once again after you have defeated the Scissors boss during the Bowser’s Castle level.
No. 12 – Stapler
To get this collectible, you’ll need to buy from the Mole once again after you have defeated the Stapler boss during the Origami Castle level.
No. 13 – Log Cabin
To get this collectible, you’ll need to have found all the Toads in the desert area. When you’ve done that, head to the building where you found No. 6 (Toad Mansion), and the balcony door will now be unlocked. Simply walk inside to get to the chest.
No. 14 – Mario
After you find the Manhole Hook, a green Toad will appear inside the building next to the sewer and give you the next of the Toad Town collectibles for speaking with him.
No. 15 – Battle Lab
To get this collectible, you’ll need to unlock the Battle Lab in Toad Town. Once you’ve done so, you need to beat every boss in the Battle Lab.
No. 119 – Princess Peach
To get this collectible, players will need to have beaten the game. When you’ve done so, head to the shop in Toad Town and purchase the Princess Peach collectible for 35,000 coins.
No. 120 – Origami Castle
To get this collectible, players will need to have beaten the game. When you’ve done so, return to the Toad Town square to get the Origami Castle collectible.
All Toad Town Not-Bottomless Hole Locations
Not-Bottomless Hole 1
The first not-bottomless hole can be found just after you leave the Toad camp area.
Not-Bottomless Hole 2
The next one can be found on the same path as the first, just a few steps forward.

The third not-bottomless hole can be found next to the question mark box just before entering the town.

Continue along the path towards Toad Town and you’ll find the not-bottomless hole just past the question mark box.

To the left of the gate to enter Toad Town, you’ll find the fifth not-bottomless hole.
Not-Bottomless Hole 6
The next of the Toad Town collectibles can be earned by filling the not-bottomless hole inside Toad Town just outside of the Battle Lab area.
Not-Bottomless Hole 7
As you enter the main Toad Town area, you’ll find this hole on the house with the yellow roof.
Not-Bottomless Hole 8
After entering Toad Town, head to the right and go towards the water. You’ll find the hole on the door of the red brick building.
Not-Bottomless Hole 9
The ninth not-bottomless hole in Toad Town can be found next to the fountain.
Not-Bottomless Hole 10
The tenth hole can be found just outside of the Toad Mansion.
Not-Bottomless Hole 11
The next hole can be found by walking underneath the balcony at the Toad Mansion.
Not-Bottomless Hole 12
Next on the list of Toad Town collectibles is the not-bottomless hole 12, which can be on the left side steps leading to the castle remains.
Not-Bottomless Hole 13
This one can be found at the door leading to the house with the giant Goomba that is holding a red Shy Guy.
Not-Bottomless Hole 14
Head down the steps adjacent to the previous hole, and you’ll find this one on the shed outside of a house with a red roof.
Not-Bottomless Hole 15
Head inside of the Toad Mansion and you’ll find this hole in the middle of the floor.
Not-Bottomless Hole 16
The final of the not-bottomless hole Toad Town collectibles in Paper Mario: The Origami King can’t be found until after you’ve beaten the Picnic Road level and saved the Accessories Shop owner. If you’ve done this, you’ll find the hole inside the house with the green origami figure.
All Toad Town Question Block Locations
Question Block 1
The first of the question block Toad Town collectibles can be found before you enter the actual town area. To get to it, simply jump up the steps and fill in the not-bottomless hole.
Question Block 2
The next block can be found to the right of the entrance to Toad Town.
Question Block 3
As you enter Toad Town, go to your left and you’ll find a block between the two houses with the red roofs.
Question Block 4
Keep going around the path and you’ll find the next block by some trees.
Question Block 5
As you head into Toad Town, go right and walk towards the water, eventually you’ll run into the block.
Question Block 6
As you head into Toad Town, go right and up the steps and into the house with the red brick. Hit the ground with your hammer next to the crate below the 100 coins to reveal the hidden box.
Question Block 7
In the same building, you’ll need to find the secret door that leads to the Manhole Hook to get to the block. Once inside, you’ll find the block on the right shelf.
Question Block 8
This block can be found in the house with the red roof to the right of the castle remains. Simply hit the drawer with Mario’s hammer and you’ll be able to get to it.
Question Block 9
The final of the question block Toad Town collectibles can be found at the remains of Peach’s castle after you’ve found the Manhole Hook and gone through the sewer to get there. As you enter the castle, go towards your left and you’ll find the block along the path.
All Toad Town Toad Locations
Toad 1
The final of the Toad Town collectibles in The Origami King can be found at the very end after you’ve saved Luigi and are heading to the next level. As you follow the red ribbon, you’ll leave the castle and begin walking on the dirt path. If you listen closely, you’ll hear a noise coming from the white column. Hit the column with Mario’s hammer and eventually the Goomba up top will fall down. Battle it and upon defeat, it’ll leave a 1,000-Fold Arm spot that you can use to rip open the column and find the hidden Toad.
