As the old adage says, “look good, feel good, play good.” And, while your Splatoon 3 character’s outfit, aside from headgear, has no effect on your performance to ink, it can certainly boost your confidence on the battlefield. And one accessory that many fierce opponents are bringing to the battlefield is ripped pants. Which is a new style of pants introduced in Splatoon 3. That’s why if you want to ripped pants but don’t know how to get them, this guide will help you.
How to Get Ripped Pants in Splatoon 3
To obtain Ripped Pants in Splatoon 3, enter the main lobby and look for the word “Equip” in the bottom right corner of your screen. To get there, press “+” on your Joy-Con or Pro controller. Then, at the bottom, there should be a selection of tabs. Select “Other”, then, using your right bumper, shuffle through the top tabs until you reach “Style.”
From here, go to Legwear and choose the normal pair of tight pants. They won’t look fancy at all, and they have a stripe down the side. Then click it, and a pop-up window should appear with four different styles of pants. The ripped pants are on the far right, and just simply need to equip them. They’ll also be available to you, regardless of your level or ranking.
Unfortunately, it appears that black is the only color for ripped pants right now. However, hopefully, Nintendo will release some clothing DLC for Splatoon 3, giving you more options for styling your clothes. This is where your level may come into play, but we’ll just have to wait and see. But for the time being, you can confidently enter battle with those ripped pants you’ve been scratching your head at how to get.
