One of the villagers, Marnie, can also become friends with the player. This can help you get access to a special recipe. But first, you need to know what Marnie likes. What Does Marnie Like in Stardew Valley

If you’re aiming to increase your relationship with Marnie, you’re going to want to know what she likes. There are multiple ways to go about this. You can give her something that she loves, which will increase her relationship faster. Or, you can give her something she likes, which will increase it by a lesser rate.

Marnie loves:

  • Diamonds
  • Farmer’s Lunch
  • Pink Cake and Pumpkin Pie

As well as all of the universal loves, or items that all villagers love. These include:

  • Golden Pumpkin
  • Magic Rock Candy
  • Pearl
  • Prismatic Shard
  • Rabbit’s Foot

Marnie likes:

  • All Milk Types
  • All Eggs, Except for the void egg.
  • Quartz

She also likes all universal likes, which function the same as the universal loves, but they aren’t as powerful. These items include:

  • All Artisan Goods, Except for Oil and Void Mayonnaise
  • All Cooking Goods, Except for Fried Egg, Bread, The Strange Bun, and Seafoam Pudding.
  • All Flowers, Except Poppy
  • All Foraged Minerals
  • All Tree Fruits, Except Banana’s and Mango
  • All Gems
  • Life Elixir
  • Maple Syrup

With this, you can increase your relationship with Marnie, and learn more about her. Including her relationships with other villagers, and her family who live with her in her quaint home. During the Heart events with Marnie you can make choices in the conversations. What you choose to say in these conversations can also boost your friendship level with Marnie.
