Warzone 2 - How to Unmute Players

Welcome to the new season of Warzone! Warzone 2 keeps up the action, gunplay, and also unfortunately the toxicity. You’re going to be muting players left and right. But, you also need to co-operate and listen to some of these players. And, when you do, you will have to be able to unmute players in Warzone 2. If you are still looking for the ways to re-add players to your proximity chat or listen to a friend again, we’ll help you turn on the sound!

How to Unmute Players in Warzone 2

How to Unmute Players in Warzone 2

You can unmute players in Warzone 2 by opening the Scoreboard. Hit the Touchpad, View Button, or M key, then you can mute or unmute any individual player from the Scoreboard. If you need to unmute all players in a match, you’ll need to access the game’s settings. Head to Options, go to settings, and scroll to Audio to find the Voice Channel.

If you can’t hear any players at all, you’re probably dealing with a settings issue. Head to the main menu to check on the following settings:

  • All Lobby
  • Party Only
  • Friends Only
  • Friends & Channels

Depending on what you’re looking for from Warzone 2, you might want to keep some of these permanently muted. However, this is where you will go to unmute them.

If you’re having issues with individual players, you may need to check the scoreboard. The scoreboard has a mute/unmute symbol for each player which sticks around as you go from game to game. If you’re willing to give another player a chance, pop open the scoreboard and interact with a player’s audio symbol.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 is finally out! Despite some technical issues, this game brings CoD’s battle royale genre up a notch. This game is available for the PS4 and PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, and the PC.
