Guardians of the Galaxy Video Game

The Marvel movie universe will be undergoing somewhat of a reboot. Thanos has been defeated. Steve Rogers chose to retire. And some heroes, like Iron Man and Black Widow paid the ultimate sacrifice.

There will be new movies, however, and along with those new movies, new games. Eidos Montreal is soon to release a Guardians of the Galaxy game and the trailer for the game was released this week. In true Marvel fashion, it featured a big hint at the end.

The trailer sees the heroes dealing with a universe wide bounty on their head. The spot continues by displaying the combination of action and humor the Guardians series has become famous for.

The last shot of the trailer features a shrouded figure leading many players to wonder if it was Adam Warlock. One user directly asked if it was the God-like hero. The account responded with an eyes emoji, essentially giving confirmation.

On the same day the game trailer was dropped, it was announced that Will Poulter would portray Warlock in the upcoming film. Poulter is best known for his appearances in the Revenant and Detroit.

The character of Adam Warlock was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1967. Developed by scientists to be a perfect artificial human, he later became a hero fighting alongside many Marvel heroes.
