Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla has a massive open world full of challenges for you to face. But there is one challenge that is more difficult than you may expect: The hallucinations puzzle. If you’re stuck on this challenge, then you’ve come to the right place. Here is how to complete the hallucinations puzzle on Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla.

How to Beat the Hallucinations Puzzle

To begin the hallucinations puzzle, first travel to Rygjafylke. You can find it on the map to the top and the left of Fornburg. Once you get to Rygjafylke, look for a blue mushroom like icon on your map, then travel there. When you get closer to the icon, look for a stones that are placed in a circle.

When you find these stones, you will see a pile of mushrooms in the center. Walk up to the mushrooms and interact with them to eat some. After the hallucinations, you will see a bunch of passageways form around next to the stones.

You should also see a piece of paper on a table next to four statues. You will need to read this to know how to complete the puzzle. On the note it should tell you about what the gates do and which gate to go through first.

Which Gate To Go Through First

To complete this puzzle, you will need to go through these gates in a specific order. The first gate to go through is the statue holding a hammer, found directly behind you when looking at the paper. We know this as the first paragraph of the paper about Thor, the hammer-wielding god. If you know Norse mythology, this puzzle should know be pretty easy for you.

If you don’t, then here is the next gate for you to go through. On the note, the next paragraph talks about Freyja’s gate. This gate is located on the left of where the paper and the statues are, and should be the first gate you see. Walk through this one to get to the last stage of the puzzle.

The final gate is the All Father’s, and you can locate this gate near Thor’s gate. Keep a eye out for a statue that has a long beard — this is the one you will need to go through in order to complete the puzzle.

That is how to complete the hallucination puzzle on Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. You should feel a little bit smarter after finally completing the puzzle, since you may have learned something about Norse mythology.
