Some of the missions in Assassins Creed: Valhalla requires you to solve a challenging puzzle. This is the case for the Well Traveled mission that you’ll encounter in Chapter 2 where you are required to unseal the well. As you may have figured out, figuring out how to unseal the well can be a bit challenging, but this guide will take you through the daunting task within the Well Traveled mission.
How to Unseal the Well in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
To unseal the well you need to move a light so that it reflects off of multiple surfaces. In order to begin, you need to run towards the single light source that is in the puzzle area. Climb the structure it is on and interact with it. Once you have interacted with the light you have to aim it so it hits a crystal-like object. You can do this by aiming directly up and hitting the orange like glow area on the ceiling.
After hitting the light on this crystal object, it should project and move somewhere else. When it does head down next to the well and find a pillar that holds a ball. Begin to pull this pillar the same way where you were previously. There should be a gap where the stone spikes stop — place the pillar here. You should see a compass-like a piece of machinery on one of these stone spikes. Aim your bow at the ball so it is in line with this.
Once you have done this, move to the light source found near the entrance of the cave. Interact with this and begin to aim it for the pillar that you just positioned next to the well. Aim for the ball on top of the pillar and the light will project through the ball. You may have to reposition this as the light may miss the target found on the stone spike.
When the two lights have hit the correct target, move over to the final light source, found to the left of the previous one. Reposition this to the unlit source found to the left. After hitting the light on it, run over to the source. When you get to it and interact with it, then it will begin to aim downward to the well. On one of the stone spikes there should be a circular target hanging. Aim the light in this target and you should unseal the well.
