Bugsnax | How to Catch a Grapeskeeto

catch a grapeskeeto

Now that you’re this far in Bugsnax, you’re going to encounter some annoying creatures in your journey to find Elizabert. If you want to catch a Grapeskeeto for Wiggle Wigglebottom, you’ve got your work cut out for you! Her quest, “Green Day,” has you looking for a Grapeskeeto, so it’s important to know where to find it and how to catch one. Unfortunately, unlike most, knowing is only half the battle here. If you’re having trouble finding a Grapeskeeto, check out this guide!

How to Catch a Grapeskeeto in Bugsnax

In order to catch a Grapeskeeto, you have to go to Simmering Springs when it is not raining out, and after 4 PM. They fly just above the beach in a small circle and get plump when they eat another bugsnak. So when you’ve found one, cover a nearby creature in chocolate and wait for it to puff up. Then simply grab it with your net.

Don’t walk around until it’s 4 PM though, because you won’t find one! If you want to explore the beach to pass the time, you’re free to do so. But if you really want to catch the Grapeskeeto, head back to Snaxburg and sleep in your bed. You can choose to rest until 5 PM, which is perfect for catching Green Grapeskeetos.

The Grapeskeetos tend to fly near the western side of Simmering Springs, near Wigglebottom. Once it’s night time, you can find them floating above some Strabbies. Cover a Strabby near a Grapeskeeto in chocolate, and it’ll come down to suck its tasty juice! Make sure you’re loaded up on chocolate if you think you’ll need a few tries! You can catch the Grapeskeeto in your net while it is sucking the Strabby, or afterward. You have 10 seconds to grab it if you’re worried about netting the Strabby by accident.

Then, just hand it back over to Wiggle! Unlike the Pineantula task, the quest can be completed by augmenting any part of her with the Grapeskeeto parts. Now, you just need to catch two Popticks.
