The Guardians of the Dream patch has been released for World of Warcraft: Dragonflight. With this, it has introduced plenty of new quests, daily quests, and more. One of the daily quests players can complete is called “Carpe Diem.”
To complete this quest, it does mean that you will have to have access to WoW: Dragonflight and have entered the Emerald Dream.
How To Complete Carpe Diem in WoW: Dragonflight
This quest is relatively easy to complete. On the map, an area will be highlighted which will take you to a set of waterfalls. Within these waterfalls, you need to find the Ambitious Fish. Your job is to guide it across all three waterfalls.
Players have been having a bit of trouble with this, as there are some things to avoid as you are escorting the fish. First, you need to ensure you aren’t using an ability like Levitate or Waterwalking, as this will cause the fish to reset, and you’ll lose all progress.
Second, you need to make sure that you have cleared all of the mobs out should you get into combat, as it will stop you from using the Brave Bubble to go to the next waterfall.
With that in mind, you escort the fish to the end of each waterfall, where there will be a whirlpool at the end. Get into the whirlpool, which will give you an extra action button called Brave Bubble. Use it, and it will take you up to the next waterfall.
You will have completed the daily quest once you reach the top of the third waterfall. By completing this daily quest, you will get some reputation progress with the Dream Wardens.
