Destiny 2‘s Season of the Splicer will arrive on May 11. Season 14 of the popular first-person shooter foxes on taking down the Vex Network from the inside while protecting the Last City from possible destruction.
To accomplish the W, Mithrax, Kell of the House of Light, is tasked with teaching Guardians the ways of a Sacred Splicer that can destroy the Vex simulation and and restore the light.
To hack the system, players will take part in a six-player activity called Override. Gamers will also take part in a weekly pinnacle mission called Expunge where they must discover vulnerabilities in the Vex Network.
While Bungie will kick off the Season 14 on May 11, gamers will have to wait until May 22 to head back into the Vault of Glass Raid. In the Glass Raid, Guardians will search for Atheon, Time’s Conflux.
The Vault of Glass Raid caused plenty of headaches for players when it originally debuts. With improved gameplay and a growing Destiny 2 universe, we expect some improvements to the original.
