Disciples: Liberation Classes | How to Unlock

Disciples Liberation Classes

Disciples: Liberation focuses a lot more on RPG elements than any of the previous entries in the series. And just like any good RPG, the game has a variety of classes you can choose from. However, you won’t be able to make this choice from the get-go. You start the game as a Mercenary, and you’ll need to play for a while before you reach the point where you can switch to a different class. In this quick guide, we’re going to show you how Disciples: Liberation classes are unlocked and how to choose the best one for your play style.

How to Unlock Classes in Disciples Liberation

You’ll learn that there are multiple classes in Disciples: Liberation when you assign skill points for the first time. Upon opening the menu, you’ll notice that certain skills are greyed out. You won’t be able to unlock those skills until you switch to the corresponding class.

The requirements for unlocking additional classes in Disciples: Liberation are pretty straightforward. First, you have to complete the storylines of two of the four starting areas. Then you’ll have to recruit two companions along the way. Companions are tied to the main quests, so simply follow the story and you’ll run into them sooner or later.

There’s no need to speak to any NPCs or complete additional quests upon fulfilling those requirements. However, you won’t be greeted by the class selection screen until you travel to a third area. Once you make your way to a new region, you will be granted the option to choose between four different classes: Warlord, Hexblade, Seeress, and Witch. Make your choice carefully, but don’t worry if you change your mind later, because you can switch your class at any time. It will cost you 1,000 gold to respec, though.

Each of the four classes in Disciples: Liberation gives you access to unique abilities and skills, so you should make your choice based on your preferred play style. The Warlord class is best suited to those who enjoy melee combat. Seeress is ideal if you prefer blasting your enemies with Primal magic from a safe distance. Meanwhile, Witches are great at buffing allies and weakening enemies. Finally, the Hexblade class plays like a jack-of-all-trades that focuses on both weapons and magic.
