Disney Dreamlight Valley Stitch | How to Unlock

Disney Dreamlight Valley Stitch - How to Unlock

The Mission in Uncharted Space update for Disney Dreamlight Valley is bringing in a few more familiar faces to the experience. Aside from Woody and Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story, players can also finally Stitch from Lilo & Stitch. The tiny blue alien is leaving something quite special behind, for Donald Duck suggests that something strange is amiss from an unknown source. It won’t start until you discover a particularly slimy sock in the Valley.

In order to unlock Stitch, you’ll need to collect three different socks across 10-15 days to trigger his crashland in the Valley and establish his new home. These socks come individually – each owned by a different character in the Valley. They are Donald Duck, Goofy, and Merlin, and their quests pertain to the arrival of Stitch in the Built to Destroy! quest.

Start your journey by looking through a diggable spot on Dazzle Beach for some Slimy Stockings. These are labeled with ‘DD’, leading us to the quacking Donald Duck at his home. Upon approaching his home, we discover chunks of trash that are littered about.

This is where Donald’s quest begins and ends. Search through the trash to find a strange device that can analyze a DNA sample, hence the clothing. However, the calculations are low, leaving us in the dark for now. But Donald is certain that we have a “sock-stealin’ UFO” among us.

Fast forward five days, then make your way to the Peaceful Meadow. Repeat the same process with Dazzle Beach by looking through the biome for more socks. Collecting these will commence Goofy’s The Sock-Stealing Space Alien Strikes Again! quest, bringing us to him for answers. After talking with Goofy about the discovery and the lights in the sky, he’ll direct you to his home for further investigation.

As fate would have it, Goofy’s home has met the same conditions as Donald’s with bundles of trash on the ground. Go through the trash to eventually stumble upon a Blue Fur. Bring this back to Donald to increase the DNA frequency on the device. Donald’s quest reads 33% with the device; Goofy’s increased to 66%. Now, we have one more sock to collect to bring Stitch home.

Wait an additional five days then travel to the Forest of Valor. Search through the biome to locate Merlin’s sock to start the Built to Destroy! quest. Evidently, present this to him to engage in a discussion about the runaway object. Exhaust the dialogue then proceed to his library to look for a Mysterious Claw. Take this to Donald to finalize the device’s DNA readings to reach 100%.

He’ll also confirm that it indeed comes from a space alien. The device, now at 100%, will read, “PLEASE PLACE BEACON TO INITIATE LANDING PROTOCOL. KEEP CLEAR FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY”. With your Homing Beacon, head to Skull Rock off of Dazzle Beach. Place the Homing Beacon anywhere on the island via the Furniture tab. Once you place the beacon and exit Furniture, a cutscene will begin to play.

Stitch’s red spaceship will suddenly appear, crashing near the beacon. Stitch will pop out of the ship, instantly curious at heart to see what had just transpired. This is where we finally get to speak with the little blue guy. He’ll question the purpose of the crash, which will bring us back to talking with Donald once more. Donald informs us that he remembers Stitch and that he likes to cause trouble.

Finish up your dialogue with Donald then find a spot in the Valley to construct Stitch’s House. It’ll cost you 10,000 Star Coins through Scrooge McDuck’s business. Finally, speak with Stitch about his home to complete the quest, ultimately welcoming the blue alien to the Valley.
