The Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 Week 2 challenges have arrived, and with them come nine new challenges for you to complete to earn some of that sweet XP. This week, you’ll need to find runaway boulder locations and dislodge them with a baller. Don’t worry, this challenge is super simple and we will explain exactly how to complete it.
How to Boost into a Runaway Boulder and Dislodge it With a Baller in Fortnite
The best place to find runaway boulder locations is the snowy region of the map, specifically near the Rave Cave. There are an excessive amount of boulders on the mountain tops in this area, so it’ll be really easy to spot one. In the image above, we’ve circled five different boulders near the Rave Cave that you can use to complete this challenge.
Now that you know where to find one of the runaway boulder locations, you’ll need to locate a baller. The easiest way to do this is to land inside of the pink bear at the Rave Cave. You’ll see a baller or two sitting on the platform that you can jump inside of. Next, simply exit the baller and drive it towards one of the boulders.
Once you get to a boulder, simply shoot your grapple at it and then boost into it. Don’t worry if it takes a few tries, but eventually, you’ll be able to boost into the runaway boulder and dislodge it with your baller. This will complete the Week 2 challenge and earn you 15,000 XP towards the Chapter 3 Season 3 Battle Pass.
With this challenge finished, take your baller and hop into the Screwballer to complete another one of the Week 2 challenges. Additionally, be sure to grab the Snap skin from the Battle Pass to unlock the Snap challenges. Then grab the Logjam Lumberyard Tover Tokens to unlock an exclusive style for the skin.
