Genshin Impact is a gacha game, so rerolling is apart of the game’s meta and something a lot of players do in fairly ofen. But what exactly is rerolling, and more importantly, how do you even reroll? Well, in this guide, we will explain how to reroll and more, so let’s take a look.
How to Reroll in Genshin Impact
In Genshin Impact, rerolling is where players create new save files in an attempt to get a desired character/weapon from the game’s Wish system. To reroll, you are going to need to follow the steps laid out below.
- Before you can Reroll, you are going to need to raise your Adventure Rank to Level 10. After you do this, the wish system will become unlocked, and you will get 20 Acquaint Fate, (ten at Level 5 and another ten at Level 10). Acquaint Fate is also the currency required to use Genshin Impact’s wish system and you will need to use these to reroll.
- Once the wish system is unlocked and you have the fate, you can access the wish menu via the star icon at the top right corner of your screen on all platforms except PS4. For PS4 users, you will need to go to the pause menu.
- When you are at the wish menu, start the wish, and see what happens. If you get a poor result, move on to the next step.
- If you have used all 20 free fate and still haven’t got a good result, you are going to need to create a new account with a new email and repeat the first steps, or seek out Primogems.
Rerolling can be a pain to do because it takes between 30 minutes to an hour go through the whole process. However, there are alternatives to rerolling, called Primogems. These are a currency in the game and can be obtained fairly easily through a variety of activities.
Once you get Primogems, they can then be used to get more wishes. Additionally, you can also spend real-world money for Genesis Crystals to get Primogems.
