It’s time to bust some ghosts! Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is coming to consoles and PC from developer IllFonic, creators of Friday the 13th: The Game and Predator: Hunting Grounds.

In it, you’ll be able to “put on a Proton Pack, grab a Ghost Trap, and monitor the trusty PKE Meter as a Ghostbuster in a team of four brave souls pursuing ghastly ghosts terrorizing public locations.” The team wanted to create a family-friendly game that any Ghostbuster fan could enjoy.

The game will be released on PC and consoles and follow IllFonic’s brand of four versus one asymmetric battle against all things Ghosts. Players can jump into the shoes of their Ghostbuster using customization tools and then try and bust some ghosts with friends in the first person. There will be options for you to customize your loadout as well. Players will have to work together to trap and take down a variety of ghosts.

The trailer shows a variety of ghosts in the game – including the iconic and gooey Slimer from the franchise. As a ghost, players will be able to cause mischief by possessing objects in the environment to hide from their opponent. If you want to play as a Ghost and create some havoc, you’ll be able to customize your spooky fiend and then try to slime and stun the Ghostbusters all from the third person.

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed will offer cross-platform play and AI-controlled teammates if you cannot group with friends. In a conversation and preview with Polygon, developers said matches should not last longer than ten minutes. Between the backfilling with AI and shorter matches, the game should be accessible to all players.

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC (via the Epic Games Store), Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
