God of War Ragnarok The Tree of Woe - How to Complete

Great story-driven games have the tendency to bring out the perfectionist in all of us. That’s why if you’ve been playing God of War Ragnarok, you’ll know there’s a lot on your plate if you’re aiming to 100% the game. But, one task you can knock off your list as you play through the story is the Tree of Woe favor. Even though it’s still challenging, with a keen eye you can complete this favor by the game’s finale. Even better, you’ll receive some awesome gear in return. So, read on to find out how to complete the Tree of Woe favor!

How to Complete the Tree of Woe in God of War Ragnarok

How to Complete the Tree of Woe in God of War Ragnarok

To complete the Tree of Woe favor in God of War Ragnarok, you need to collect all 48 Ravens scattered throughout the Nine Realms. Yes, that means sniping all those pesky little green birds that are hiding in every nook and cranny of the game. Doing this will work to complete the Tree of Woe favor, consequently the same as the Eyes of Odin favor.

However, completing this is just the first step. Because, as you may know, you need to collect all 48 Ravens to unlock the six chests under the Raven Tree. Here’s what each chest contains:

  • 6 Ravens – Girdle of Raven Tears (Chest Armor)
  • 12 Ravens – Bracers of Raven Tears (Wrist Armor)
  • 18 Ravens – Cuirass of Raven Tears (Waist Armor)
  • 28 Ravens – Breath of Thamur (Heavy Runic Attack)
  • 38 Ravens – Meteoric Slam (Heavy Runic Attack)
  • 48 Ravens – The Finger of Ruin (Heavy Runic Attack)

Once you’ve collected all 48 Ravens and unlocked all six chests, then you’ll complete the Tree of Woe favor. However, a good favor isn’t officially complete without a worthy battle. Once you open all the chests, a special enemy, or a couple we should say, will spawn who you have to defeat them. Once you do defeat them, you’ll officially complete the Eye’s of Oden and Tree of Woe favors, 100% Niflheim, and unlock a Relic and Amulet, needed to 100% the game.
