Plank Cliff in Grounded is located just northeast of Fallen Oak Branch. You can find it on the north side of the house. You’ll know you’re in the right area when you see a giant board sticking out of the ground; that’s Plank Cliff.

As you can see from the image above, Plank Cliff is one of the more central features of the in-game map. You can spot it easily by looking for the big rectangular silhouette nearby the oak branch. When you get there, watch out for the Wolf Spiders that are patrolling the area. These creatures aren’t to be trifled with, especially if you’re new to the game.

To complete the Explorer quest, all you need to do is plant a flag at the highest end of the board. Remember, you’ll need two Sprigs, two Plant Fiber, and one Clover Leaf to craft the flag. Once that’s done, the Explorer quest will be marked complete, and you’ll be rewarded with 100 Raw Science.

After the flag has been placed, you’ll be able to reference the marker any time through the in-game map. You’ll also be be able to set a special icon and custom color, if you so choose.

Plank Cliff is easy to find: Just head toward Fallen Oak Branch, then look for the big wooden board north of the house. Plant your flag and your work is done. For more help with Grounded, be sure to check out some of our other useful guides:
