It’s that time of the month again! After leaking a few days ago, PlayStation has given us an official look at May’s PlayStation Plus games. Next month players can download and play three different games: FIFA 22, Tribes of Midgard, and Curse of the Dead Gods. Subscribers will have from May 3 to June 6 to add them to their library as part of their subscription.

Please also check out our list of games we want to see available on PlayStation’s new subscription service this summer.

Fifa 22

FIFA 22 is the latest football (or soccer for those of us in the USA) game from EA Sports. In it, you can build your dream team and play with them in various modes. Both PS4 and PS5 owners can download the respective version on their consoles. PlayStation Plus members can also download the PlayStation Plus FUT pack to kick things off. It includes 11 additional players rated at 82 or above to fill out your team. It also comes with the Icon Moments Loan Player Pick. This lets you choose between some of the best players and add one of three to your team for five games.

Tribes of Midgard

Are you obsessed with Norse Mythology? Tribes of Midgard is full of it. It blends survival and ARPG genres and lets you play with friends or solo. You play as an Einherjar, brought back from death by Odin. Tribes of Midgard enlist you and up to 10 friends to defend the Seed of Yggdrasil from forces of evil. Expect to gather resources to fortify your village, forge weapons and armors, and battle some epic giants and beasts from Norse mythology.  Both the PS4 and PS5 versions are available.

Curse of the Dead Gods

Curse of the Dead thrusts you into a labyrinth full of endless dungeons and possibilities. It is an isometric roguelike that pits you against monsters, traps, and more. You’ll find mysterious relics and a horde of weapons to strengthen your character. As you play, corruption and curses build within you via the Curse meter. The further you venture, spend blood for items, and fight enemies in the darkness, the higher it builds. It gives you more challenges and opportunities while also hindering some of your abilities.

PlayStation Plus subscribers have until May 2 to get April’s PlayStation Plus games. Outlaws & Legends, SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated, and Slay the Spire are all great games in their own right. If you haven’t played Slay the Spire, though, it’s one of the most addicting deck-building roguelike games. Get it!
