Players can waltz into the Mayor’s Manor to interact with the machine, though they’ll need the tickets first. But how are you supposed to get tickets in the first place?

As it turns out, several ways exist to obtain Prize Tickets in Stardew Valley. If you’re familiar with how the town operates, you’ll quickly get your hands on the named tickets.

The new Prize Machine in Stardew Valley requires Prize Tickets to produce a number of pre-determined items. It’s located in Mayor Lewis‘s Manor next to the Town Ledger and Divorce book. Distinguished by its red-orange design and ticket symbol, it’s impossible to miss. Just look to the corner where the Lost and Found box also stands.

The prizes are separated into two categories, with the first set consisting of 22 initial items. Mayor Lewis himself has loaded them in. These items include a variety of seeds, different bombs, a Fish Smoker, Mystery Boxes, books, Omni Geodes, and more. Some items are thrown into the same group, however. This essentially means that one player’s prizes might differ from another’s.

When interacting with the machine, you’ll see a sequence of three items. These three are the pre-determined prizes you’ll receive with each given ticket. Evidently, each gameplay will present different items for players.

After receiving the 22nd item, new prizes like Fairy Dust, Treasure Chests, and Iridium Sprinklers will be added to the mix. The tickets you spend this time around will open nine possible slots.

How to Get Prize Tickets

Prize Tickets are the only form of currency the Prize Machine accepts. These tickets are often rewarded for completing the same tasks you’ve accomplished in the game, including Quests and Special Orders. Additionally, obtaining wins at the Egg Festival and Festival of Ice are included. You can also spend 1,000 star tokens at the Stardew Valley Fair. Mayor Lewis even hints at this when first speaking to him about the new machine.

In truth, progressing through Stardew Valley and accomplishing tasks will naturally acquire Prize Tickets. Be sure to look for them occasionally as you continue discovering new things in the valley.
