World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is the eighth expansion for Blizzard’s hit MMO. This expansion adds more difficult quests for us to take on, such as trying to get the Rune Vessel during the Final Pieces quest. This item can be very hard to locate if you don’t know what you’re looking for. Luckily, we can help you find it. Here is how to get the Rune Vessel as well as how to complete this part of the Final Pieces quest.
How to Get the Rune Vessel in WoW: Shadowlands
In order to compete this quest, you will need the Armor Rune Vessel. If you look up the quest objectives in your quest book that appears on the left side of the screen, you should see some useful information in the last paragraph. That paragraph says that you can get the required Rune Vessel by either crafting it or by purchasing it at the Auction house. Here is how to do both.
Auction Houses
There are many auction houses in World of Warcraft, but if you don’t know how to find them, here’s what you need to know. You can head to just about any city or town in the game, as many of them have their own Auction Houses. But to make things easier, there is an auction house found in Durotar. This city is found on the east coast of Kalimdor, and it borders the Northern Barrens and Azshara. You can find this on your map.
Auction houses all sell the same things at the same price, so it doesn’t matter which one you choose to go to. Explore the town until you see the auctioneer. Once you do, interact with them. Scroll down until you see a Armor Rune Vessel which is suitable for your class.
Crafting
In order to craft the Rune Vessel yourself, you will need a Base Item, two Missives, and Soul Ash.
Base items can be found and created by Blacksmiths, Jewelcrafters, Leatherworkers, and Tailors. These craftsmen can create Base Items for most armor slots. Base Items are blank armor templates to which you can add Legendary Powers through Runecarving. You will also need to do this, adding a power of your choosing (though you must collect the recipe first).
After gaining all these items, you will also need two different Missives. Go to the Runecarver and click on your Rune Vessel to combine the items and complete the quest. These will determine the armor’s secondary status, like adding a critical strike. Soul Ash is needed also, and you can get some after doing the Twisting Corridors quest found in Torghast.
