Some of these can be obtained by running old dungeons, spending Gold, or collecting items from specific areas.

1 – Arboreal Gulper
This is a great mount that you can obtain pretty easily in WoW. This requires you to have access to Ardenweald. This mount has a 100% drop rate, so you’ll be able to get it easily as long as you follow the instructions.
To get this mount, you need to loot an Unusually Large Mushroom. This can be found by killing any mob in Ardenweald, but it may take some time to drop. You then have to fight a boss called Humon’gozz in the Dreamsong Fenn. There will be a specific patch of earth that you plant the mushroom in and then wait for the boss to spawn. Over time, it will grow into a rare mob, and you can take it down. Now that you’re over-leveled, you’ll most likely be able to solo the rare, but you can get someone to help you should you need it.
2 – Red Flying Cloud
The Red Flying Cloud does require a bit of grinding to get it. You will have to grind the reputation with the Lorewalkers until you get exalted, but this is pretty easy and won’t take you too much time. To grind the reputation, you’ll have to fly around Pandaria to get your hands on some scrolls, which you can then turn into Lorewalker Cho.
3 – Grand Expedition Yak
The Grand Expedition Yak is a straightforward mount to obtain and is most likely going to be one of the first that you purchase once you reach enough Gold. This is quite an expensive mount and will set you back 120,000 Gold. However, it is a worthy investment to grow your collection. It also comes with a Transmog Vendor and an item Vendor where you can purchase goods and repair your gear.
To get this mount, head to Kun’Lai Summit in Pandaria and make your way towards the village of One Keg. Head east, and you’ll find Uncle Bigpocket, who will sell you the mount.
4 – Shimmermist Runner
This mount is beautiful and is overall simple to get. To obtain this mount, head to Root-Home in Ardenweald. There will be a maze there that you need to complete in a specific order, which will then let you access a Rare boss to kill, which then gives you access to the mount. Here are the steps you need to take to get the mount:
- Enter the maze
- On the first intersection, go left
- On the second intersection, go right
- At the third intersection, go left
- At the fourth intersection, go right
- At the fifth intersection, go forward
- On the sixth intersection, go left
- Take down Shizgher
5 – Bronze Drake
Next on our list of easy mounts to get in World of Warcraft is a classic from Wrath of the Lich King. Getting the Bronze Drake is an easy feat, but it may take some effort. It does require you to run a relatively old dungeon and be timely with it. To get this mount, you have to run The Culling of Stratholme, follow the markers on your map, and complete it before the timer expires. Luckily, by the time you get to the end of the dungeon, you don’t even need to deal with Mal’Ganis and can go straight to the Infinite Corruptor. Easy peasy!
6 – Twilight Drake
This requires a minimal amount of finesse, but it is still very doable. All you have to do is ignore every other enemy in Obsidian Sanctum and kill Sartharion. It’s that easy. The mount is a guaranteed drop, so you’ll have no trouble getting it.
7 – Raven Lord
To get the Raven Lord mount, it does mean a lot of farming. However, it is incredibly easy to walk through this dungeon, and it will take you five minutes. It isn’t a guaranteed drop, unfortunately, so you may be farming this one for a while. Go to the Sethekk Halls dungeon in Terokkar Forest and run the dungeon on Heroic difficulty. The boss, Anzu, is the one that will drop this mount, should you get it.
8 – Garn Nighthowl
The Garn Nighthowl mount is very easy to obtain. To get it, you have to kill Nok-Karosh, a rare mob in the far west of Frostfire Ridge. He spawns roughly around 15.8, 41.0. This mount has a 100% drop rate, so as long as you can kill the elite, you’ll get this mount with no issue.
9 – Silky Shimmermoth
This mount requires a little effort but still nothing too drastic. For seven days, you will need to go to Lake Amphitheatre and fight different rare elites. The elite of the day randomly rotates, so there is a possibility it may take you longer than seven days. Once you’ve killed them, spend 5,000 Anima at Master Clerk Salorn’s shop, and you can obtain this mount.
10 – Vorquin Mounts
These mounts are very easy to get if you quickly make a Dracthyr. There are eight mounts in total that you can purchase from a vendor; All you need is Gold. If you were to purchase them using a different race, you would need a reputation build-up first. You can buy these to get these mounts from Treysh in The Forbidden Reach, costing 40 Gold each. It’s important to note that to get these mounts, you must have purchased World of Warcraft: Dragonflight.
