The Assassin’s Creed franchise has been going down an RPG formula for a few years now and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has simplified things just a bit. Using a new (but Destiny-inspired) power level formula, you learn how to take on the world. So, what’s the max power level? And what does it take to reach that level? Read on to find out!
What is the Max Power Level in AC Valhalla
The maximum Power Level in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is 340. The highest level areas in the game are at that number, and it seems that it’s tricky to get much higher. Realistically, that means that if you want to tackle any area in the game, you’ll want to be level 310.
Power level is a combination of your equipment power and your skill points. The higher level your equipment is and the more skill points you have, the better level you get.
This is different from Odyssey, which had a traditional leveling system. Thank goodness, because now regions aren’t level-locked! You can go anywhere you want, and take on any enemy you like, because your power level doesn’t change enemy HP that much.
However, there is some damage scaling if your level is too low. It seems that if you have more than 30 levels on (or under) an area, the mobs in it change. So try to be within 30 levels of an area if you don’t wanna get your butt kicked.
That being said, this is so much better than traditional leveling… mostly because it’s hard to get XP boosters when levels are based on progress! If you want to farm to the max power level, you’ll want to do quests, find new gear, and keep pushing into new areas. Quests give you skill points, and can give you gear, so it’s a good idea to focus on those first!
It’s also worth noting that the max power level could change when new content is added into the game or DLC is released. In the meantime, be sure to check out some of our other guides:
