Cyberpunk 2077 Iguana Egg | How to Hatch

Cyberpunk 2077 Iguana Egg - How to Hatch

Cyberpunk 2077 is a game that rewards exploration. Like many open-world RPGs, there are loads of different items scattered around every environment. But, unlike many different open world RPGs, the items you can find scattered around Night City are a bit odd. One of the strangest items that you can nab in a quest is the Iguana Egg, a quest item that can be found during the midgame. If you’re wondering what it is used for – and if you can hatch it – you’ve come to the right place!

How to Hatch the Iguana Egg in Cyberpunk 2077

The Iguana Egg is a quest item that you can obtain during the quest called “The Heist.” Once you’ve gotten the egg, you can bring it back to V’s apartment and place it in a bowl after the quest “Playing for Time.” After about 100 days in the apartment, the egg will hatch into a live iguana. Depending on your patch, you will not be able to hatch the Iguana on PS4 or Xbox One.

It is very easy to miss the Iguana Egg if you are playing “The Heist.” The Egg is located behind the tree trunk on the first floor. You should find it near the adult iguana pet, and you won’t have to commit any iguana-murder to grab it. But, this little pet can be hard to see. So, spend some time behind the trunk and make sure the Egg appears in your inventory. It is impossible to get it again once “The Heist” is completed. You’d need cheats or glitches to do so!

Great, you have the egg! Now, once you complete the quest “Playing for Time,” you can place the egg in a bowl in your house. Then… It’s waiting time! It’ll take between 90 and 110 in-game days for you to get a little Iguana pet of your own. Sadly, without the use of cheats or console commands, this cannot be improved.
