If you’re trying to complete the Multiplayer Challenge that requires players to “ping 40 unique enemies on the map” then you’re probably trying to figure out how to ping and mark enemies. Unfortunately, it isn’t explained very well and is rather confusing to figure out.

To ping enemies in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, you’ll need to use the Personal Radar. This is a killstreak reward that can be unlocked after you get three kills. However, if you’re using the Hardline perk, you’ll only need to get two kills. Additionally, for this specific challenge, pinging a unique enemy is as simple as pinging different, individual enemies.

The Personal Radar is similar to a UAV. It will fly above you in the air, and ping enemy positions on your minimap. As you can probably tell, knowing the location of your enemies will be a huge benefit to you and your team. So, if you’ve been wondering how to ping enemies in Modern Warfare, now you know what you need to do.

The Personal Radar is great because it will follow you around as you move across the map. This means that you’ll always know what you’re walking into. Unfortunately, the downside is that other players will know you’re nearby if they see a Personal Radar flying towards them. However, since you’re able to ping and mark their exact location, you still have the upper hand over your opponent.
