Plunderstorm is the newest event being added to World of Warcraft with patch 10.2.6. This patch is preparing players for the brand-new expansion titled The War Within, which will come later in the year.

How To Play Plunderstorm in World of Warcraft
Playing Plunderstorm in World of Warcraft is really simple. To play it, you need to ensure that you have retail World of Warcraft installed to access it.
- Once you’ve opened up WoW, go to the game menu and click on Plunderstorm
- Go ahead and create your new playable character for this event. You don’t need any previous knowledge of races to make a character
- You can choose between playing Solo or joining your battle.net friends in battle!
- From the character screen, you can choose the Duo option. You will be automatically matched with one in the queue if you queue without a duo partner.
As you play through Plunderstorm, you will get to access brand-new abilities that can help you throughout your journey for survival in the Arathi Highlands. There are two slots dedicated to offensive spells and two for utility spells, such as leaps and speed boosts.
The spells you obtain through the battle royale can be equipped and upgraded by picking up special loot or the same ability. You can stack these upgrades to level 3 (epic quality.)
By participating in the Plunderstorm event, you can obtain all sorts of cool rewards, including cosmetics, pets, and a mount. You don’t need to win to progress on your reward track.
