Due to its souls-like similarities, players from all around are now interested in the game and want to know if it is available on Xbox Game Pass? Let’s take a look.

No, Mortal Shell is not available on Xbox Game Pass, despite being available on Xbox platforms along with PlayStation 4 and the Epic Games Store. So, this means that if you want to try out the game, you’ll have to purchase it game for $30. It’s possible it could come to the service at some point, but at the time of writing, there are no public plans to bring the game to the service.

If you’re not familiar with the game, it recently received some high praise from players during the beta which received 350k downloads in just one week. Further, the game takes place in a dark fantasy universe that fans of dark souls we feel right at home in.

The comparison comes from the stark similarities with other souls-likes in that you play as a warrior who must face “desperate adversaries and creatures both pitiable and grotesque.” Further, it features an in-depth combat system where you must be mindful to calculate an attack only when an opportunity opens up.

Mortal Shell also has an intreating system were players can use a strange ability literally called “Mortal Shell” that will cause the player to become more “diverse masteries of combat.” While it’s disappointing that it isn’t available for free on Xbox Game Pass, you can still check it out today for less than most games.
