When Is League of Legends Coming To Mobile?

League of legends mobile

League of Legends is one of the most popular games of all time. The game has a massive worldwide player base and is one of the biggest eSports in the world. On top of all that, the game only seems to get bigger, gaining more players and more people watching it on streaming platforms and attending live showings of competitions. At least back when live shows were still a thing. With how popular and how much money the game makes, it seems kind of obvious that Riot Games would try its best to make the game available to as many people as possible. That being said why is there no League of Legends mobile version yet?

When Is League of Legends Mobile Coming to North America?

League of Legends players have been expecting some kind of mobile version for years, but it seems like this year might be the one. Last year, Riot Games announced that League of Legends mobile would be coming at some point, as well as a console release. The game will be coming to those platforms in the form of League of Legends Wild Rift.

Aside from the name, it is the exact same game but just on consoles and mobile. The League of Legends mobile version, Wild Rift, is actually out already in parts of Asia but when is it coming to North America?

Recently, Riot Games announced that the League of Legends mobile beta will be coming to North American countries in March 2021. This will just be for the mobile version of the game only, as the console version of the beta has not been announced for any part of the world yet.

For those more competitive minded gamers, you might be thinking about the disparity between the performance of PC and mobile players. With League of Legends being such a competitive game, this is important. Riot Games has confirmed that there will be no cross-platform play between the different versions of League of Legends and each platform will play with itself exclusively.
