After you defeat Valac in Bloodstained Ritual of the Night, you will earn an item called Silver Bromide. This item will be used to create your Bloodstained Identification Card, which is going to be the key to getting into the train station later in the game. There are a couple of steps that must be followed after you pick up the Silver Bromide in order to get your ID Card. So, let’s take a look at where to get the ID Card in Bloodstained Ritual of the Night.
Bloodstained Identification Card | How to get an ID Card
After you defeat Valac, you’ll find an item called Silver Bromide. You’ll need this item in order to get an ID Card in Bloodstained which will get you into the train station. If you haven’t defeated Valac yet, you’re going to need to start there.
If you aren’t sure who Valac is, it is a two-headed Dragon located in the Towers of Twin Dragons. The monster is weak to Ice, Light, and Thrust. So, if you’re planning to take it on, it’ll be best to build your loadout with those weaknesses in mind.
Once you’ve defeated the two-headed beast, you’ll be able to pick up Silver Bromide. Once you have it in your possession, you’ll need to take it to the photoshop in Arvantville. Once there, you’ll find a small photography studio to the left of Dominique’s item shop.
Head to the studio, where you can trade the Silver Bromide for a photograph. This will complete the first step to getting your Identification Card in Bloodstained.
With your photo in hand, you’re now going to need to go to a room that just so happens to be located next to the Livre Ex Machina fast travel point.
Once you fast travel, go to the room directly below you and you’ll meet Orlok Dracule, a friendly vampire.
Orlok Dracule will inform you that you’ll need some credentials to get into the train station. Luckily, the vampire can get you the proper credentials in exchange for your photograph that you just took. How convenient!
Make the trade, and you’ll have the proper ID Card to unlock the barrier to get into the train station.
You can find the train station by fast traveling to the Garden of Silence and then heading right. Eventually, you’ll run into a barrier, which will require the proper credentials to get through.
Use your Identification Card and you’ll be able to get through the train station barrier and be well along your merry way!
