Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels DLC - New Cars

The Hot Wheels DLC addition to Forza Horizon 5 sees the arrival of some new cars. As one would rightfully assume, these vehicles are actually life-sized versions of famous Hot Wheels diecasts. Some you may know, and some may be fresh to your eyes. In either case, these new vehicles from the Hot Wheels franchise are quite a catch, so you won’t want to miss out on them. For this guide, we’ll take a look at what they are and how you can unlock them.

All New Cars in Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels DLC

As aforementioned, Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels introduces some new vehicles to the game. They all come in different styles and speeds, and maybe a bit of history if you see one of your favorites. We created this list to showcase which diecast is which, letting you determine whichever car to get next. These are unlockable through the Hot Wheels DLC map, but most of them can be acquired as a reward during Season Events, from Festival Playlists, through the Forzathon Shop, or with a Wheelspin. We’ll be sure to list those below. Here are the 15 Hot Wheels cars in Forza Horizon 5 (for now):

1949 Ford F-5 Dually Custom Hot Rod

Unlocked by completing “Chapter 2: Iconic Orange Track” story or Wheelspin. These chapters act as the Forza Horizon Story aspect of the DLC, where you’ll learn about the history of the famous toy car franchise. You can also get it through the Season Events, Festival Playlists, or from the Forzathon Shop.

1957 Nash Metropolitan Custom

Unlocked by completing “Chapter 1: The Beginning” mission or Wheelspin. Reward in Season Events, Festival Playlists, or one day in the Forzathon Shop.

1993 Schuppan 962CR

This one might take you some time, but this is actually the reward for completing the “Now this isn’t Pod Racing” Expert Qualifier.

2000 Deora II

Complete the “Here We Pro” mission. Upon finishing the track, you’ll rank up with Alejandra, the NPC who is giving you the freedom to experience Horizon Hot Wheels Park.

2005 Ford Mustang

Unlocked by completing “Chapter 5: Hot Wheels Today” story or Wheelspin. Also acquired as a reward Season Events, Festival Playlists, or via the Forzathon Shop one day.

2006 Mosler MT900 GT3

For the speedsters, maintain a clean speed of 250 mph for 5 seconds while driving in an S2 Class car.

2012 Bad to the Blade

Complete the “Bad to the Blade Runner” mission. This is the first car that we get our hands on during the intro, but it’s only for a taste. It’s incredibly fast and smooth, making this one probably the most desirable of the cars.

2012 Rip Rod

Finish the “Chapter 3: The Snake & The Mongoose” story mission or Wheelspin. Additionally, you can get it as a reward through Season Events, Festival Playlists, or the Shop.

2013 Baja Bone Shaker

Acquired after achieving rookie status through the “Ice, Ice, Maybe?” qualifier. This works as your first official race on the track aside from the intro. Ultimately, it’ll be your first Hot Wheels ride to enjoy.

Complete the “Chapter 4: Treasure Hunting” mission or Wheelspin. This one also is obtainable in Season Events, Festival Playlists, or by purchasing it from the Forzathon Shop.

2018 SUBARU WRX STI ARX Supercar

Similar to the COPO Camaro, you’ll need to race from the Hot Wheels Outpost to the Treetops Speed Trap within 1 minute 30 seconds or less. You’ll also have to ride in an S1 Class car to complete this task.

2019 Brabham BT62

Obtained by racing through the Supersonic Spiral and the Frozen Rush Speed Zones within 2 minutes. It’s required to be in an S2 Class car if you want to unlock the BT62.

2020 SIERRA Cars #23 Yokohama ALPHA

Win the Hot Wheels Goliath event. Here, you shall become a Hot Wheels Legend, with the new vehicle to show off your accomplishments.

2021 Hennessey Venom F5

Drive through and discover all the roads in Hot Wheels Park.

After collecting one of the cars, you’ll receive the Hotline emote through the Car Collection. This section in the game is where you can view all of your accumulated vehicles, along with a prize unlock according to how many you collect. As of now, these are the new cars that come from the Hot Wheels DLC. There might be more in the near future, but it looks like we got our first set of drivable diecasts to go after.
