Relics of the Old World and certain technologies can help advance builders to the next stage in My Time at Sandrock. By evolving the city of Sandrock, players can develop newer stations and items to reach the endgame. One of these includes the Advanced Assembly Station, which requires the power of a Gravity Motor.

Unlike some of its other components, such as Chromium Steel Plates and Magnesium Aluminum Alloy, the Gravity Motor is a bit harder to find. In fact, a couple of workstations are also needed. With this in mind, locating and obtaining some useful motors for more than one occasion is essential.

You can acquire a Gravity Motor in several ways in My Time at Sandrock. The best method is to explore the Mole Cave Abandoned Ruins, starting at level 7. From level 7 and beyond, you can utilize the Treasure Detector to pinpoint buried relics. Along the way, the motors can show up on your radar as long as you upgrade it.

Moreover, the Treasure Detector can also pick up buried Expert Toolboxes. You can snatch these containers and open them whenever you choose. However, there’s a chance that a Gravity Motor could be sitting in there. It’s all a matter of opening them whenever you find them and stash them in your inventory.

Furthermore, certain treasure chests may also yield a Gravity Motor, though this is likely a last resort. Treasure chests can contain one of many items in My Time at Sandrock. Therefore, it’s best to try your luck in the Mole Cave Abandoned Ruins and explore level 7 and beyond.

Using Gravity Motors

As we mentioned before, the Gravity Motor helps erect the Advanced Assembly Station, which many builders know is the third-level version of the Assembly Station. It’s also used to construct certain endgame items, including the Hyper Compressed Air Cannon and Transport Basket. Its recipe and requirements are as follows:

  • 3,000 Gols
  • Chromium Steel Plate (x10)
  • Magnesium Aluminum Alloy (x10)
  • Processor (relic) (x4)
  • Gravity Motor (x2)

Builders are also responsible for two other creations: the Industrial Grinding Table and Industrial Machine Tools workstations, which are essential for crafting newer items. The Industrial Grinding Table is the third-level Grinder, while the Industrial Machine Tools serve as the third-level Processor. To make these, you’ll need the following items:

Industrial Grinding Table

  • Manganese Steel Gears (x3)
  • Magnesium Aluminum Alloy (x8)
  • Gravity Motor (x1)
  • Processor (relic) (x2)

Industrial Machine Tools

  • Manganese Steel blades (x2)
  • Manganese Steel Gears (x3)
  • Magnesium Aluminum Alloy (x8)
  • Gravity Motor (x1)

You will need these two workstations to assemble special items later in My Time at Sandrock. Each is important for completing commissions, so be sure to grab a motor or two whenever you get the chance.
