Everyone has their list of overrated games. Titles that have widespread acclaim from critics and fans. Yet, despite their praise, you don’t get the hype. 

Recently, Redditor KikiBrownLove asked, “what game are you tired of hearing is the best?” As you can imagine, people have lots of opinions on the matter.

The now former Electronic Arts soccer franchise has widespread appeal from gamers of all backgrounds. Whether you’re casual or hardcore, there’s a chance you know someone who’s played FIFA. 

The partnership between EA Games and FIFA has expired. The new name for the EA franchise is EA Sports FC

Valorant

Developed by Riot Games, Valorant is their take on the squad-based shooter genre. 

It has a popular following, though nowhere near as popular as their breakout game League of Legends. Because of this, it’s easy to understand why it’s on the list of overrated games.

Call of Duty

The mega-popular Activision franchise has been going strong for over two decades. 

Call of Duty has seen several recent releases. Modern Warfare II came out in October 2022, followed by Warzone 2.0 and the new DMZ mode shortly after. 

God of War

In 2018, the series saw a reboot that took it into a more mature, story-driven adventure on the PlayStation 4. A sequel, God of War: Ragnarök, came out for PS5 and PS4 at the end of 2022.
