Grounded recently released in Early Access and has been a big hit for developer Obsidian. With the game being available for free to those who subscribe to Xbox and PC Game Pass, tons of gamers have been able to check it out. However, if you don’t own a gaming PC or an Xbox system, then you might be wondering if Grounded will be coming to PS4 any time soon. Let’s take a look.
Is Grounded Coming to PS4?
No, Grounded will not be coming to the PS4 or any other PlayStation platform anytime soon. The game is being developed by Obsidian, which is owned by Microsoft, so it seems highly unlikely that PlayStation users will get the chance to play the game on their platform.
While there are occasionally timed platform exclusives being released in the gaming industry, those are an exception to the rule and typically are initially released on a console then on PC, they don’t usually release on the opposite console family. So, if you want to try out Grounded, your best bet will be to start saving for an Xbox or see if your PC meets the required specs.
Since we are on the subject, it’s also worth noting that Grounded won’t be coming to the Nintendo Switch either, at least not anytime soon. Going forward, it seems that Xbox and PC will be the only home for the Honey I Shrunk the Kids inspired game.
Grounded is currently in Early Access and will have monthly content updates for the foreseeable future. However, there are currently plenty of things to craft and build in the game as you explore all of the different lab locations. As you gather materials and are ready to build a home, be sure to look for the best base locations so you can build a home that lasts.
