When Paul is involved in a car accident, and Annie finds him, she takes him to her secluded home and becomes his nurse. But as she becomes more obsessed with him and his work, her true intentions are revealed, and sinister events unfold.

2. Dredd (2012)

Dredd is a science fiction film directed by Pete Travis and starring Karl Urban as Judge Dredd, a “Street Judge” in post-apocalyptic America. Alongside Olivia Thirlby as Cassandra Anderson, Dredd’s psychic partner, they take on the ruthless drug lord, Ma-Ma, played by Lena Headey.

3. Maleficent (2014)

Maleficent is a fantasy film directed by Robert Stromberg and starring Angelina Jolie as the title character. Maleficent is the villainous fairy from Disney’s Sleeping Beauty. The movie explores Maleficent’s past and the events that led to her curse on Princess Aurora.

4. Monster (2012)

Monster is a crime drama directed by Patty Jenkins and starring Charlize Theron as Aileen Wuornos, a real-life serial killer. The movie follows Aileen’s story, from her difficult childhood to her eventual descent into murder and her relationship with Selby Wall, played by Christina Ricci.

5. Blade Runner 2049 (2017)

Blade Runner 2049 is a science fiction film directed by Denis Villeneuve and is a sequel to the 1982 Blade Runner. The movie stars Ryan Gosling as K, a new blade runner, and Jared Leto as Niander Wallace, a powerful industrialist and inventor of the new replicants. 

Robin Wright plays Lieutenant Joshi, K’s boss and an influential figure in the LAPD. The story takes place 30 years after the first film’s events. It follows K as he uncovers a long-buried secret that leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard, played by Harrison Ford.

6. Emily the Criminal (2022)

Emily the Criminal is a crime thriller movie that follows the story of Emily, a criminal mastermind who leads a team of skilled thieves. The film stars Aubrey Plaza as Emily and Theo Rossi as the detective trying to capture her.

7. Carrie (1976)

Carrie is a psychological horror movie about a teenage girl named Carrie (Sissy Spacek) who discovers she has telekinetic powers and uses them to seek revenge on her classmates and her abusive religious zealot mother, played by Piper Laurie.

It also stars a young John Travolta. Carrie has a 1999 sequel and was remade in 2002 and 2013, but most agreed the original is the best of the series.

8. The Craft (1996)

The Craft is a teen supernatural horror 90s classic. It follows four outcast teenage girls in high school who pursue witchcraft for their gain and subsequently experience negative repercussions. It stars Robin Tunney, Neve Campbell, Rachel True, and Fairuza Balk in her most notorious female villain role. 

9. Thor: Ragnorok (2017)

Thor: Ragnarok is a Marvel superhero film that follows the story of Thor, imprisoned on the planet Sakaar. He races against time to return to Asgard and prevent his villainous sister Hela from destroying his home and the Asgardian civilization. 

The movie stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Cate Blanchett as Hela. Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, and Jeff Goldblum are also in this film.

10. M3GAN (2022)

M3GAN is a science fiction thriller movie about a robot, M3GAN, designed to help emotionally disturbed children. However, it develops a mind of its own and turns against its creators. The movie stars Amie Donald as the robot M3GAN and Ronny Chieng as the scientist who created her.
