For decades, gamers have played as super heroes taking on different big bads across the DC Universe. But what would it be like if someone like Superman or Wonder Woman went bad?
This is the premise of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, the latest game from Rocksteady Studios and Warner Bros. The major powers of the League are under the mind control of Braniac. It is up to the Suicide Squad to take them out. In a trailer recently released on Playstation’s blog, the squad is tasked with taking down the Flash.
The trailer opens with long-time Flash Rogue Captain Boomering taunting the Scarlet Speedster. The villain compares his rival to the much more powerful Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern, calling Flash a mascot. After Deadshot reveals that Flash is being mind-controlled by Braniac, the Squad is then instructed to go kill the him.
While Flash is incredibly power, the members of the Squad also display some impressive powers of their own. Captain Boomerang has picked up some kind of super speed for himself and he can also scale walls. The monstrous King Shark is obviously incredibly strong and powerful. Harley Quinn joins the fight with a grappling gun she can use to swing around (most likely stolen from the caped crusader). And Deadshot has gotten his hands on a jetpack that he can used to fly around.
Of course, despite Boomerang’s claims, Flash is not easy opponent. While being influenced by Braniac and not holding back at all, the speedster is capable of becoming a devastating opponent.
